You might be wondering, “What is B2G”
In short, we’re a group of local pastors in the Drakenstein area that has a heart to see our valley transformed by JESUS.
Being a group of pastors, we love the Boland region and we love local church. We believe that the local church has a vital role to play in the transforming of our community and region.
Our story started in 2010, when a handful of pastors decided to “go for coffee” with the intention of fellowship and friendship.
We regularly meet up to connect, chat, laugh, pray and encourage one another. There’s an old saying that says, “Why re-invent the wheel” and hence we also see the value of learning from each other. Over the years we’ve seen how wonderful friendships have formed and there is a mutual honour and respect for each other.
Since that initial “coffee date” in 2010, our B2G group has grown and we have local pastors from Paarl, Wellington and Franschhoek getting together.
Currently we are about 16 churches around our valley that build relationships and help one another in growing healthy churches.
This group not only means a lot to us as local pastors, but also to those in our local churches.
It is a blessing to lead local churches and our hope is that JESUS will continue to use His Church to impact our greater community.
We are looking forward to what God Has instore for our valley!!!
